Today I'm so excited to share with you a personal challenge. I call it the Whole House Organization (WHO) Challenge. What is it? It's a commitment to get all the rooms in my home organized and clutter free - one baby step at a time.

Whole House Organization Challenge 2017
First let me just come right out and say that I try to do this every year. And you know what? Every year, I get side tracked. Ha! The one difference about my personal challenge this year, is that I'll be blogging about my journey to declutter my home room by room. My hope is that doing so will help me to stay accountable. I also hope that YOU find this challenge intriguing enough to join in with me!
Starting the WHO Challenge
As in past years, I've decided to start with the room that gets the most use - the kitchen. This room is a beast to tame! So I plan to break it down in small portions.
If you're taking this journey with me, here is a list of areas that will be addressed:
- Utensil drawer(s) & station(s)
- Junk drawer(s)
- Small pantry/cabinet organization
- Setting up stations in a small kitchen
- Tackling the lazy Susan
- Using the open space above cabinets
- What to do with all those storage containers?
- Under the kitchen sink (ugh! I hate this part)
- Organizing the fridge

Use this project sheet to measure, and plan each space listed in the bullet points above. But please keep in mind that the objective here is not to spend goo-gobs of money. The goal is to reduce stress by eliminating unnecessary items, and to make your home run more smoothly. I encourage you to only purchase new organizational systems when needed.
