7-Day Countdown to the Fall One Room Challenge
Can you believe I'm attempting to do it again? Yes, I am going to subject myself to late nights; to scouring every thrift store possible in search of forgotten treasures; willingly throwing myself into another sea of DIYs? Me either! "What am I talking about", you ask?
After nearly making it by the skin of my teeth in the last time around, I will again be participating in the One Room Challenge, hosted by Linda of the blog CallingitHome and media partner House Beautiful. Whoo hoo!!! Yasss... this for me, is exhilarating!

You will recall that my husband and I toiled feverishly to build a structure that we had never attempted before. We built a pergola. And boy did we ever enjoy that baby this summer! If you missed that post click here to catch up.
What Room Will I Tackle for this Season's ORC?
Stay tuned. I'll dish out all the details on that next week. For now, I will only say that it will be slightly less ambitious than the aforementioned project, yet challenging nonetheless.
THIS week, however, I'd like to do something that I never got around to doing last time. I want to introduce you to a few of the designers who have been featured in the past. There are 20 in all. Will the same designers be featured this season? That remains to be seen. But if you love interiors as much as I do, you will want to click on a few of the links below to check out these heavy-hitters.
Holly Hollingsworth Philips @ The English Room
If you love color - and lots of it - Holly of The English Room will be your best pal. She has an amazing talent for combining a dizzying array of patterns in one room. And you know what? It always works. Always.
Nicole Cohen @ Sketch 42
Ms. Nicole has impeccable taste and great attention to detail. If you think the room below is stunning, click here to see her Spring Bohemian ORC makeover.
Jacquelyn Clark @ Lark & Linen
I would describe this designer as a little bit country with a touch of rock-n-roll. Light and airy transitional rooms with subtle punches of color seem to be her signature style.
Jennifer @ Rambling Renovators
Classic yet modern are what make Jennifer's rooms stand out. She has the ability to blend both styles effortlessly.
J & J Design Group
There's only one word to describe this duo: FUN! Jennifer and Joanna (J & J) rocked this room during the Spring ORC. I can't wait to see what they do this season.
Clearly these folks know what they're doing. And the ORC is the perfect opportunity for all of us to get to know and learn from these talented designers. So if you haven't already done so, I'd love it if you would bookmarked my blog. Next week, I'll be sure to include the links of ALL 20 of the featured designers.
I look forward to reading all of your encouraging comments!
